Cory Ferguson is a second generation tattooer with over 30 years experience in the tattoo industry. His shop Good Point Tattoos is located in a suburb of Toronto and has been operating since 2009. As North America's original Geometric tattooer Cory has helped pioneer one of tattooing's most popular styles and also gone on to create the first ever iPad drawing app made specifically for tattoo artists called Geometrica, and also a stencilling app called Tattoo Print System.
"As a geometric tattooer i have made a career of tattooing designs that are extremely difficult to get onto the skin. Getting square grid based patterns to look good on round and curvy body parts is an art all unto itself. I have learned that there isn't one single way to stencil, and the many ways that a stencil can challenge you can be as unique as the tattoos themselves. My chosen tattoo style forced me to pay extra attention to stencil application and freehanding, so I have been amassing a collection of unique tricks and techniques, and in this seminar I will share them all with you. The more of these tools you have in your toolbox, the better equipped you will be to problem solve your way out of that next stencilling nightmare. These are tips that can be applied to all styles of tattooing and definitely aren't just for geometric tattooers.
